  • Events Executive

    PROMOTIONS AND EVENTS EXECUTIVE

    Reporting to:Marketing Manager, General Manager
    Salary: Competitive Package including bonus
    Operational dimension:Responsible for planning, promoting, executing and reporting on the company promotions, catering and events.
    Working Relationships:Internal: Marketing Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Branch Managers and all 800 Pizza employees
    External: Private and Corporate Clients, Advertising Agencies, Press, Media

    Principal Accountabilities
    · Study, research and penetrate the market in order to create leads for presentations, product demonstrations, catering and events activities.
    · Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, catering and events in order to aggressively promote the brand to ultimately increase awareness and revenue.
    · Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of an event team throughout and be the main point of contact for the client projecting a positive, passionate and professional Italian image and flare.
    · Pre-event, on-site and post event communications, liaison between the company and all third parties involved.
    · Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine results and cost effectiveness of promotion campaigns
    · Monitor and study competitors as well as read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning
    · Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
    · Assist in the online awareness and branding activities of the departments such as Social Media and Online activities

    Desired skills and Experience
    · UAE Driving License
    · Fluent in English and Italian with strong outgoing personality
    · Self-starter with underlying entrepreneurial qualities
    · Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent
    · Minimum of 2 years experience in a promotions and/or event management role
    · Proven negotiation skills, organized, influential, and accurate
    · Must be flexible and very often required to work during holidays and or weekends
    · Must have a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
    · Excellent ability to stay cool under pressure, navigate calmly through change and roll with the punches

  • Branch Manager

    BRANCH MANAGER

    Reporting to: Operations Manager
    Salary: Competitive Package including bonus
    Operation Dimension: To provide an Italian/European ambiance to 800 Pizza Clientele and manage the various aspects of the operation by taking responsibility and initiative where needed.
    Financial Dimensions: Manage an annual growth of 15%
    Management Dimensions: To train a team of cooks and servers in order to ensure that customer service and product quality is second to none thereby enhancing the brand image of 800 Pizza as the best Italian restaurant in town.

    Principal Accountabilities
    • Be in touch and report to the Operations Manager on a daily basis so to maintain an open and efficient two way verbal and electronic communication.
    • Ultimately be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant operation including front of the house, back of the house, delivery section and storage area if applicable.
    • Develop and motivate the team as a Leader but also work the floor and greet customers as a Team player in order to set the example and project the professional Italian image and warm Italian hospitality to the clientele.
    • Create an environment that promotes staff morale and encourages the employee to have pride in their area of responsibility and in their skills, thus ensuring maximum efficiency.
    • Ensure proper safety and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the work.
    • Prepare and monitor work schedules for the team ensuring that the restaurant has an adequate number of staff needed for daily operation. This should also take into account national holidays and seasonality.
    • Maintain and check all required paperwork, e.g. stock count, chiller temperature recordings, grease trap maintenance recording, pest control recording, food items labeling, suppliers invoices, etc
    • Delegate duties when and where necessary to the team, ensuring that the restaurant is in immaculate condition and ready for service at all time.
    • Ensure that the operation flows smoothly and efficiently with orders being processed and delivered promptly.
    • Maintain a high standard of discipline implementing company policies when it comes to disciplinary action such as warnings and deductions.
    • Set a grooming example by maintaining professional personal grooming, posture and behavior at all times i.e. Clean and neat haircut, no smoking in areas visible to the customers and possibly no smoking at all to avoid the smell of smoke onto clothing, no visible jewelries apart from a wedding band and a conservative wrist watch.
    • Communicate interactively with all levels of staff by holding briefing sessions on a daily basis.
    • Ensure that the correct procedures are carried out regarding the billing system i.e. cancelling orders, refunds etc.
    • Look after all equipment and its maintenance and therefore communicate with maintenance contractors and suppliers promptly when required.
    • Assist wherever help is needed for the good will of the Business.

    Desired skills and Experience
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a large casual dining Environment
    • Bachelor degree / Diploma in hotel management /business administration or 5 years' experience
    • Excellent English communication skills –Verbal and written
    • Experience working with diverse cultures, managing and delegating a multi-cultural team.
    • Proficiency in the use of Windows OS and software such as Outlook, MS Office(Excel, outlook, Word and Power point Presentation)
    • Ability to deliver great commercial results, manage lasting relationship with subordinates and inspire a great team

  • Call Center Operator

    CALL CENTRE OPERATOR

    Reporting to: Call Centre Supervisor
    Operational dimension: Responsible for receiving all inbound calls on food orders as well as attending to customer complaints.
    Financial management: Upselling 800 pizza products to customers in order to increase sales
    Working Relationships: Internal: Operations Manager, Branch Manager, call centre Manager and all 800 Pizza employee.
    External: Customers

    Principal Accountabilities
    • Ensures complaint with the company operating system in handling all inbound calls on 800 Pizza orders and follow up on customers' orders where necessary
    • Provide customers with adequate information on food ordered in terms of ingredients and cooking process when required
    • Ensure accurate encoding and punching of food orders on the POS system

    Desired skills and Experience
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as call Centre operator in food services
    • High School/Secondary School or 3 years' experience as a server or waiter
    • Good communication skills –Verbal and written preferably English language
    • Proficiency in computer software systems such as Windows, Emails, MS Office(Excel, outlook, Word ),POS
    • Ability to work independently
